“Real Feel x4 and CL-1s” or “The Practice Pad Painting”

I reckon I’ve spent thousands of hours over the years tapping on practice pads. What better way to celebrate all of those paradiddles than by doing a portrait of them? This painting is acrylic on canvas (my first attempt at stretching it myself) and is 24″ x 30.” It depicts a quartet of classic (as opposed to the newer gray rubber models) HQ Real Feel pads, along with a pair of my sticks du jour, Innovative Percussion CL-1s.
