Take Your Eggheads The late great Saul Goodman always preferred his students to use the sticks he made (and sold). Most of his sticks had a seam but the Eggheads didn’t, they sported seamless felt heads. He liked them for early Romantic music such as Mendelssohn’s fourth symphony. “Take your Eggheads,” uttered in the patented Saul Goodman voice, was a popular catch phrase with his students, though I can’t remember if he actually said it to me in a lesson.
