App Attack

I’ve been spending more and more time with iPad apps, digital artwise. I like being able to draw with a stylus. It’s a lot like smushing paint around but I can do it anywhere and not make a mess. Nor do I have to keep buying art supplies. My new favorite is Procreate, which is the most powerful of all the painting and drawing apps. The possibilities are endless and the learning curve isn’t steep, especially if you have some experience with Photoshop. I also love OmniSketch, which is not as feature laden but which can render dense and interesting drawings. I doesn’t have layers, which is actually a strength: you draw and one layer.
