“Grover Medium” Acrylic on Mylar

This is a portrait of the the Grover Artist Choice medium tam tam mallet, the latest of my drum stick portrait series. It is different from its siblings in several respects. One: it is not only the mallet but the actual instrument as well. Two: it’s actual size. Three: it’s painted on a used Remo 3400 Renaissance timpani head.
